- Orthodontics : Current Principles and Techniques By Tom Graber and Robert Vanarsdall My favorite orthodontic book and a book that should be on every dentists bookshelf. Recommended in "A Basic List of Recommended Books and Journals for Support of Clinical Dentistry in a Nondental Library" in Bulletin Of the Medical Library Association, July 1997. A great text with good illustrations. Pricey ($180) but worth it.

- Change Your Smile by Ron Goldstein, Louis Belinfante, Foad Nahai The best book on cosmetic dentistry. The book is written by leading experts, but it is meant for patients.
