Can I Brush Teeth After Jaw Surgery?
Im getting underbite jaw surgery in a few months and I was wondering will be able to brush my teeth and tongue after my jaw is wired shut?

Good Luck with the surgery. Usually for the first 24 or 48 hours your jaw will be wired and the only way to clean teeth will be a mouthwash. Also may use a q-tip to wipe off any residue on teeth. Before going for surgery the doctors or nurses will go over everything with you, and make sure you ask any questions. No questions will be stupid just as you just asked me.
