Can I get my braces off?
I've had my braces on for a year and a half. I haven't had any work done on them in like, six months because my mother hasn't been making the payments on them. I only got them in Feb. of 2012 to fix my front teeth, which were gaped, and one was pushed out further than the others. It's fixed and my teeth are straight. But I had a baby tooth that my orthodontist had pulled out; my right canine; and the adult tooth still hasn't grown in. You can see it beneath my gums, but it hasn't came in, and the baby tooth has been gone for like, six months. Since there's no work being done on my teeth anymore thanks to my mom, and since my teeth are straight like I wanted them...I don't see any point in still having my braces on. I was supposed to get them take off at the end of this year, but I'm wanting them off now. Would my orthodontist take them off when there's still that adult tooth that hasn't came in yet?
