Facial numbness due to abscess
I have an abscessed tooth that is pinching a nerve causing part of my face to be numb. It's been numb over 4 days. I've been told by a dentist that I need an oral surgeon, because the nerve is extremely close to the tooth and theres a chance my face could become paralyzed, but cant afford one at this time. What are the risks of having the nerve pinched for a prolonged amount of time?
