I mildly, laterally dislocated my jaw by falling, Will I need surgery to have it fixed.

I fell while inline skating about 5 days ago and my left jaw has been aching and my bite is off (lower jaw to the right about 2-3 mm.) I had xrays done and the Towne(?)view shows a mild lateral dislocation on my left side. I am scheduled for surgery for spinal stenosis in my neck in ten days (one disk that is pressing on my spinal cord will be replaced,)and can\'t get into an oral surgeon before the neck surgery. What is the likelihood that my jaw will need surgery for repair and is it okay to wait until I am completely healed from the neck surgery to have anything done? I can\'t find anything about lateral displacements and the treatment for them on the internet and no doctor will even hint as to whether I should delay my neck surgery or not to have this evaluated by an oral surgeon.
