Loose Tooth Won't Come Out

My 10 year old daughter has a tooth, her bottom, left, first molar, that is literally hanging on in her mouth by the pulp. I tried to pull it, but by research, the veins are in the pulp and are causing her too much pain to pull it, and she said she could take it but i refused because i don't want to break the veins in her tooth. What is the best way to get this tooth out without leavinng it? She can't eat, so I'm keeping her on those chocolate milkshakes so she won't get dehidrated while the tooth is there.

Answer: go to the dentist!

By

My advice is to go to the dentist. The way you are discribing it is sounds like a sinple solution. If your having problems with getting.it out there may be one root that has not shrunk not allowing the rest of the tooth to come out. They will be able to determine this at the dentist. If there is no additional root there are optimal to get it out. They can just place topical around the area of tooth to numb the area and thwn wiggle it out. They can also use the topical in addition to anesthetic to really numb it so she doesn't feel it at all. If it is causing that big of a problem as to her not being able to eat because its causing her problems with pain and discomfort. They will recommend removing.it immediately. There is no reason to keep it in her mouth if she's having issues with it. Please do not wait on this. One more thing that could happen is leaving the tooth in there like that can cause more issues. It can abcess and cause a lot more pain to her then just being a loose tooth. This is an infection that eats away at the nerve area of the tooth sometimes appearing as a pinpke on the gumline. It can spread and cause the teeth next to it to abcess as well. So again go in right away.
