4 Hours After Double Jaw Surgery- DAY 1

Comments: My throat is in a lot of pain. My mouth was bleeding a lot which made me feel like I was choking because it was so hard to swallow. I kept getting nose bleeds too because they made cuts in my cheek bones. I was very weak. I was on pain med through the IVs and also had a button I could press every ten min. The outside of my face is very numb. The night was rough. I could barely sleep because I had to keep getting up to go pee and everytime u have to get all the wires detached so it's a hassle. You have to have help standing up. Then the pain also just kept waking me up. I wasn't able to drink everything so the taste of the blood was awful and I had to rinse with hydrogen peroxide using a syringe then use a sucker to suck the blood out, then water, then suck, then repeat.
