Underbite Jaw Surgery (Pre Surgery) Part 1

Comments: My name is Stacy. I have an under bite which will require surgery to correct. I have to have braces on for around 9 months pre-surgery, and about 9 months post surgery. This is the beginning of my journey! Right now the plan is to move the top teeth backward, and the bottom teeth forward (this will actually worsen my underbite) The reason for this is it will get the teeth in position for the final result. The surgeon is unsure at this time if I have to have upper only or if I have to have double jaw surgery. Upper jaw will cost me about $5,000 while double will be around $8,000.
