Metal tryin of bridgework on Xive dental implants with Anthony Bendkowski

Comments: Hello Study Club Members. Here we are trying in the Atlantis cad-cam abutments for bilateral upper posterior bridges - each side being supported by two Friadent Xive dental implants. The healing caps are first removed using the 0.9mm hex driver. Then each abutment is fitted with the 1.22mm driver (finger tight only) and checked for marginal integrity and soft tissue support. Then each metal substructure casting is tried in place and checked for passive fit and occlusal clearance. Finally the occlusion is registered in Stonebite and the work returned to the laboratory (Smile Design in Rochester) for completion with porcelain, ready for fitting at next visit. The healing caps will be reseated at the end of todays appointment.I hope that you find this helpful. See you at the next Study Club. Anthony Bendkowski.
