Braces - Photo taken every day - Before and After Transformation - Orthodontics Braces photo everyday video orthodontics was originally created on my old merden account. I got the idea for this from madandcrazychild I was 27 when I began braces treatment - orthodontics - for crowding on both upper and lower teeth. I used the Damon system and was originally given a treatment time of between 12 and 18 months (final debanding occured after 14 months). I searched youtube for Before and After video's, stumbled upon about a thousand video diaries but very few "complete transformation" videos. As an adult with braces, I discovered that it's a little more difficult to get "perfect" teeth, but overall i'm happy with the end result. Now i'm set for another 9 months of full time retainer wear. If anybody has any questions feel free to ask me i'll try and share my experience. Extra info: For those interested, I didn't have healthcare so the total cost from start to finish was $6100 Aud. Braces Before & After (Extreme Overbite) Please read this story: I had my braces for 2 years. They were uncomfortable sometimes, but worth it. I was severely bullied from the age my adult teeth came through until about age 13. I was called ugly, disgusting, deformed, bugs bunny, bucky beaver, ugliest girl in the school etc etc for years. It didn't help that I started school very early and was 1 - 2 years younger than kids in my class. Plus I ended up in a composite grade, so some of the bullies in my class were up to 3 - 4 years older than me. That's a huge difference at that age. Most of them did not know I was younger than them, though. I was also bullied by a teacher who greatly encouraged other children to bully me. She caused me severe emotional damage and I felt I was so ugly at one point that I could not even leave my house. I did not leave my house for 2 years, from age 12 - 14. I hid inside with the curtains closed. I felt like I was an alien compared to everyone else. I felt that I was so ugly and bizarre that I couldn't be seen by the public. I had a lot of mental health issues during that time... it got to the point where I was institutionalized for a short time. I was diagnosed with severe anxiety/panic disorder and Body Dysmorphia. If you want information on that, just look up Body Dysmorphic Disorder on google. This teacher became principal of another school and never said sorry for what she did to me. Braces Before and After Questions 1.) How long have you had braces and what type are they (metal ones, or the clear ones) and how long do you have left before they come off? 2.) Do you need elastic bands? if so, can you show us how to put them in and how hard it is to do so? then show some close up views about how they look on both sides. Maybe you can also show the hooks they connect to up close and if you can connect them in different ways (like show a few different ways they connect, then show how you are supposed to have them). My ortho has said that I'll likely need them, so I'm looking for any tips about elastics since I'm new at this! 3.) Can you show a long close up about how your smile looks with your braces? then maybe talk about how they look and if you don't mind them at all... i'm scared how they'll look on me, but some people like you look good. 4.) Can you show a long close up of how they attach to your teeth on both sides (like how they attach to the last tooth on each side of the top & bottom) and how they stay in place? then maybe talk about how the orthodontist puts them on? 5.) Can you talk about how they have worked to make your teeth straighter and if you notice any difference? Also, can you get different colors and how does that work?
