Day 21 Post Underbite Jaw Surgery It has now been 3 weeks since I had my double jaw surgery. I can open my jaw a little bit bit more each day and for the first time today I was able to eat the noodles from my soup!! It felt so nice to have that genuine "being full" feeling. Swelling and the numbness continue to go down as well. In about 6 days I will get my splint taken out so I will definitely post a video that day, stay tuned. Views: 5736 |

9.5 weeks post jaw-surgery (class III underbite, crossbite) It's been 9.5 weeks since jaw surgery. My splint was removed approx. 6 weeks after surgery. Will continue wearing braces until 4 upper front prosthetic teeth are put into place due to having smaller top teeth than bottom teeth. Eating and feeling is returning to normal, but it's not 100% at this time. Will continue updating videos until braces are off and my smile/bite is correctly aligned. Views: 2082 |

Jaw Surgery: Day 1 Today is the first day after Surgery. They let me go home at 11:00 am today. My stay in the hospital was horrible. I threw up blood all of myself, and they had to use a catheter me twice because I was having trouble urinating from the anesthesia. I think the swelling is at its worst right now. I really cant wait for it to go down, so I can reap the benefits of my surgery. As always keep the comments and questions coming. Views: 1214 |
