Day 21 Post Underbite Jaw Surgery It has now been 3 weeks since I had my double jaw surgery. I can open my jaw a little bit bit more each day and for the first time today I was able to eat the noodles from my soup!! It felt so nice to have that genuine "being full" feeling. Swelling and the numbness continue to go down as well. In about 6 days I will get my splint taken out so I will definitely post a video that day, stay tuned. Views: 5736 |

V1 - Underbite Jaw Surgery - Pre-Op and Pre-Braces I just got my separators on. Next week the braces will come one. Then in two weeks, I meet with the oral surgeon who will give me a case presentation for the actual surgery! Pray for me :) My digital camera has video but it looks very outdated. I'm going to try and budget in a better quality video camera. This was taken June 1, 2011. My jaw surgery journey is supposed to be one year long (from beginning til' end). By June 2012, I would have completed the surgery and the braces should also be off by then. Views: 1917 |

V7 - Underbite Jaw Surgery - Day 13 - Post-Op with Pictures! It is day 13, just had my second follow-up appointment... I've also included a small slide show at the end to show the progress up to date!... Swelling and numbness is still going down, I'm nearly 70-75% recovered/healed... I still have a week or two until numbness gets closer to 99% or so... God is GOOD, many prayers on recovery and healing have been answered :) Views: 1286 |

9.5 weeks post jaw-surgery (class III underbite, crossbite) It's been 9.5 weeks since jaw surgery. My splint was removed approx. 6 weeks after surgery. Will continue wearing braces until 4 upper front prosthetic teeth are put into place due to having smaller top teeth than bottom teeth. Eating and feeling is returning to normal, but it's not 100% at this time. Will continue updating videos until braces are off and my smile/bite is correctly aligned. Views: 2082 |

Post Underbite Jaw Surgery - 2 1/2 month update (Buttons/Attachments/Invisalign shown) My buttons were removed and my attachments were moved to the teeth next to them so that they could have rubber bands on them to move them to a better position. Jaw surgery, underbite (Swe), Leyla 5 weeks, 2 days (37 days) after surgery Hi guys! Hope you´re doing fine! Im just posting this quick update 5 weeks, 2 days (37 days) after my surgery to show the progress. I haven´t had any new check-ups with the surgeons yet so I wear the elastics as before.
