How do I fix the space between two front teeth?
Before getting braces we noticed that I did not have teeth growing in to push out my baby teeth. These were the teeth righ next to my two front teeth. Therefore they were pulled and my braces pulled my teeth together to close te space. I now have two less top teeth and had no top wisdom teeth. After my braces were removed my orthodontist placed a permanent retainer behind my top 4 teeth and my teeth were shaped so it looked normal. Well, my dentist removed my permanent retainer due to an unwise decision. I now have worn my wire retainer to close the space because working hours I will have a space between my two front teeth now that there is no permanent retainer. My wire retainer will close the space almost over night but it also comes back within a day. My question is, will my wire retainer train my two front teeth to stay together (no gap) if worn long enough or do I need another permanent retainer behind those top few teeth? What are my options?
