Lingual braces with orthognathic surgery

How can I find an oral surgeon who will perform these two things in conjuntion? I live in Minnesota and I need help narrowing these results. Im not finding anything online locally. I see doctors doing this other places but not Minnesota. How can find this in My home state?

Answer: Lingual braces and Orthognathic surgery

Not all orthodontists will perform lingual braces. Special training and instruments are necessary to place and remove lingual brackets. You also must be a candidate for the brackets that are placed on the lingual, which are different that the traditional buccal brackets. Most oral surgeons perform orthognathic surgery, or can refer you to a surgeon that will. Find an orthodontist first, be sure you are a candidate for lingual braces, you will need to have them for 6-12 months prior to your surgery. Once the brackets are placed, you can seek an oral surgeon and travel slighlty outside your city limits if necessary as the orthodontic treatment is much longer and more visits are involved that that of the surgery.
