Wish I had used traditional braces

I am at the midpoint of my Invisalign Express treatment, and my teeth are improving. My issue with Invisalign is that my dentist and the advertisements misrepresented the product. I was shocked to discover I had to have attachments put on almost all of my teeth - some teeth having two of them! I thought part of the purpose of Invisalign was to not have to have things stuck on your teeth. Also the trays are NOT invisible, and they cause a speech impediment. I have become very self-conscious of my mouth now. I have had traditional braces in the past and would have preferred that route to this. At least with regular braces people can look at you and know you have them, unlike Invisalign, which has prompted several people to ask me what is wrong with my mouth. I can certainly understand why payment for Invisalign treatment is expected up front! I would recommend that people look at all the alternatives available to them before choosing a product like this.
