Is this giant hole after a wisdom teeth extraction normal?
I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed about a week and a half ago. The pain isn’t bad at this point but ever since my sutures have come out, I have this giant hole on the bottom right side of my gum. Food gets stuck in it, I was literally picking food out of it continuously for 10+ minutes the first day I noticed it. Once I’m no longer able to get anything out of it I can still see a whiteish yellowish substance down there. I’m not sure if it’s more food that’s just impacted way at the bottom or if it’s my jaw bone or what. My gum is also beginning to pull away from my 2nd molar on the same side. I’m just concerned that the sutures on this side fell out way too early and I don’t understand how this will heal properly with all this food in it.
