Bottle rot?

should my daughter have her 20 month olds teeth caped, pulled or just cleaned. Don\'t they fall out naturally around age 4 or 5?

Answer: seek immediate dental attention

If your granddaughter had bottle rot, she needs to be seen by a pediatric dentist immediately. The pediatric dentist can take x-rays and determine the extent of the decay and necessary treatment. Cleaning the teeth will not fix the problem and a child cannot go 4-5 years without teeth. They need their teeth to eat. Proper nutrition is required for them to grow and function properly. If nothing is done, the decay will continue to get worse and could affect the adult teeth.
