Answer: reg. dentist first

Ouch! First things first, go to the regular dentist and have them bonded. They will place a white colored composite filling to make them look normal again. This is if you didn't chip them really bad. If that is the case you may need crowns done. That's the worst case. Make sure they take.an xray as well to eliminate possible cracking or breaking the root. If you are going to have them bonded and have a yellow tint to your teeth and want them whiter. Try using something such as crest white strips before having the bonding done. Otherwise they will match the shade of composite to your now shade of teeth. In the future if you plan on whitening and dont do it now after you have the bonding ,those teeth will never match the other teeth. They may always stay the darker color which could look funny. Go for a consult at dentist have the xray and and get a quote for bindings. See if insurnace will cover any of it for you. Explain your concern you would like to whiten your teeth first. They may set up apt. In a few weeks to allow you to do so. After you get the bonding done go for a consult on braces at the orthodontist. If you have dental insurnace see if it has orthodontic coverage. They may cover a portion for you. I believe in Canada the average cost of braces is around 5500 to 6000. They may have payment options for you as well. To care for the bondings you would still brush and floss like normal. You now will need to pay special attention to those teeth because they can be more prone to getting decay if not kept clean. You will need to watch eating or biting into anything that is hard or sticky. This can break the bondings off. Learn to cut up apples and veggies and avoid hard sticky candy. Hope this helps. As far as your wisdom teeth the orthodontist may refer you to have them removed at am oral surgeon before starting braces. Some may wait until you are completed with braces unless they are bothersome. The bindings cam last anywhere from 5/10 yrs or longer as long as you following the instructions on diet.
