Braces Without Extractions?
I am 20 yr old, the ortho said i need to extract 4 bicuspids for having braces but i dont want to have extraction. My teeth are aligned but the front 4 are a bit protruded upwards/frontwards. I just want to straighten them. which is the best method for it?

It is common to have four teeth removed to make room for the other teeth to be aligned properly. If you feel that you don't want to have your teeth removed, I suggest you go and get a second orthodontic consultation and explained to them that you are concerned to have teeth removed. From what you mentioned, that your upper teeth are a bit protuded and moving frontward. That tells me that you have a crowded mouth and need teeth to be removed in order to correct the bite and align your teeth. Another orthodontist may not pull your teeth if they feel they can create space with orthodontic treatment. When going for the consultation- you should address that you are not comfortable removing teeth. They should explain to you why they need to remove teeth or not. Inorder to straighten teeth, the best method would be orthodontic treatment. Good Luck
