Developing TMJ and dished-in profile due to extractions and braces?

4 years or so ago, I had two of my bottom first molars extracted due to cavities. In the past year, I had my two of my upper first molars extracted. Again, due to cavities. A week after that extraction, I came back to my orthodontist to get braces. She suggested that I take another two upper pre-molars extracted due to the reason that the molars which should have been used as an anchor had already been extracted before, and not extracting those pre-molars would cause the shifting of too many teeth backwards. She said that it would then be reasonable and easier to align the teeth if the pre-molars were to be extracted. However, she only extracted the two premolars on my upper teeth without extracting anything from the bottom. This was 4 months ago. I am now on my 3rd month of having braces and she had done 3 adjustments already. So basically, I have had 6 extractions all in all. 4 on top, 2 on the bottom. I had only recently read about the risks of having TMJ due to extractions and orthodontic treatments. I am now scared that I may develop TMJ as the orthodontic treatment progresses, and have my facial profile distorted. I have an overbite and a protruding mouth, but no case of overcrowding. I haven’t talked to my orthodontist about this yet, and my next appointment is next month. I’m just wondering how this is going to affect my facial profile, and if there's a high possibility of me developing TMJ as soon as I get my braces done? Or if I should even worry about developing TMJ at all? What are my options?
