Do i need braces?
are the consequences severe if my back, supposedly third, molars have out grown the upper ones by an abnormal margin? my upper molars have begun to grow out and are just about leveled off with the bottom ones but if i decide against getting braces how bad will the consequences be? Will the rest of my teeth become crowded or will my back molars only be effected?

As you mentioned that your wisdom teeth are erupting now. It is common when you have a wisdome teeth erupted first before the other one comes thru. Like you said, your lower wisdom teeth came in and now out grown the upper wisdom teeth. But if your upper are coming in, there will be a time when the upper and lower wisdom will meet and help the lower one to go down to match the upper wisdom teeth. Usually when wisdom teeth erupt, there is no room for them to erupt aligned with the rest of your teeth. Your teeth may become crowded and tighter, making it hard to floss and keep clean between the teeth. I would make a appointment with a orthodontist for a consultation and then you will know if the wisdom teeth are going to be a problem for you. Also ask your dentist too and get his/her opinion.
