Is it better to get braces when all you baby teeth hasnt fallen out yet?
So im trying to convince my parents to let me get braces. But they say no becuase all of my baby teeth havent fallen out yet and they say that once i get my braces, the baby teeth will grow out crooked and you will have to get it twice. Is it better to get braces before all my baby teeth fall out or do i have to wait until all of them fall out and grow.

It is a good idea to wait till most of your baby teeth are gone and your permanent teeth are erupted. There is no set age of when you should get the braces. If you would to get braces now with some baby teeth still present, the braces would usually not go on the baby teeth but your permanent teeth. Sometimes the orthodontist will start treatment and make room for your permanent to erupt properly. You will not have to get braces twice because of the baby teeth. Your orthodontist will tell you what is the best treatment for you. You can make an appointment with a orthodontist for a consultation and that will help you alot as far as what you need to be done.
