Shifted bottom teeth post braces

I was wondering how much orthodontic work I would need to correct my bottom crooked teeth. I am currently 21, but growing up I had two phases of braces, retainers and an expander. In 8th grade I was finally finished with my orthodontic work. When they removed my final set of braces the ortho put a permanent wire along the inside of the bottom front teeth. It was glued in place. One day while eating candy it fell off. This was probably a year after having it put on. Since then my wisdom teeth had come through and I finally just last month had all four removed. However in that time, my two front bottom teeth scooted backwards. They are still straight up and down but have scooted literally toward the back of my mouth. They are not titled, they shifted, and need to be brought forward again to be flush with my surrounding teeth. I am wondering whether I would need a few braces on the bottom teeth again or if it can be corrected with another permanent wire? Any suggestions would help.
