Solution to my minor crossbite.

hello I have worn braces on and off for about 4 years. The first time I removed my braces was for a special occasion and my orthodontist approved. The next month he applied braces only on my upper teeth, he told me my lower teeth were completely straight. After a couple of months I asked him when will I remove my braces, he said right now if you want, your teeth are good. I told him okay. Next year my canine teeth shifted to their former position. Then my orthodontist said that i have to wear braces again. I was completely fine with it. Next year he removed my braces and said that I was done with braces. However, later i sensed that something was wrong with my teeth. They didn't feel straight to me. I asked a couple of times if they look aligned to him and he told me they do. I went to another orthodontist and he informed me that I have a minor crossbite. He said that the right side of my teeth do not close properly due to my third molar tooth because it is not aligned to the bottom and that I should wear braces again. I told my mom and my mom thinks that my teeth are fine and that I should leave it as it is. I would love to know your opinion on this matter and some advice on what to do. I really don't want to wear braces again is there another solution to fix my teeth without it? Thank you Dana
