Spring coil pain
I just got coil spring for my braces. The screw that was planted for the spring to be attached to is far away and causes the spring to be very stretched. After i got home i feel severe pain that is causing me headache. So i lifted the spring a little bit with my finger to see what was going on and saw that the spring has dug into my gum and causing it to bleed. When i called to the clinic they said its normal and that some people also experienced the same thing and even worse. They said not to bug it and leave it be because it will heal overtime. I dont know very well about this but my logic is how can it heal if the spring is constantly in contact with the gum? So is it really normal for my gum to bleed like this, will it heal?
