Tips To Get Used To Wearing Retainers?
do you know any tricks to get used to wearing the top retainer? because whenever i put it on i feel like im about to throw up and sometimes i do actually throw up while im wearing my top retainer. please help

Please call the orthodontist and tell them of your problem. You need to wear them full time for a good year till your gums are strong. With all the moving of your teeth, your gums are soft and by not wearing the retainer your teeth will shift. It is common that some people have trouble wearing the top retainer just like you, they feel like they are going to throw up. The orthodontist may cut the palatal of retainer a little shorter, so it does not go right to the back of your mouth. And/or they can put a permanent retainer behind your upper 4-6 teeth to help stabilize shifting. Good Luck
