What happens in a counsultation for braces?
me and my mom set my first appointment at the orthodontist for me, 11 years old, and they called it a counsultation. But, one problem is i dont know what a counsultation is for or what happens in one.Can you please explain the steps and procedures of a counsultation to me?

A conusltation with a orthodontist, is a check up to see what treatment you need. Usually they will check inside your mouth and usually ask you to bite down, so they can check how your bite is. Also they may take photos of your teeth and face, to check out your profie. Also they may take molds of your upper and lower teeth to see how they line up now and how they should line up later with correction. This appointment has no pain whats so ever. It should be very interesting to see the difference in a perfect smile and they way your teeth are now. Good Luck
