What to do after 13 years of brace brackets?

To Whom it May Concern, Hello. My name is Gaynelle. I have a very strange yet critical dental case to fix and I haven't the slightest idea where to begin. I have had brace brackets on my teeth for 13 years. My dentist at the time started a few things but, due to finances and poor scheduling, the bracework was never completed. This was when I was 12. I am now 25 and the same brackets remain on my teeth. My mouth is rotting, my gums are tearing and my gums bleed while I sleep.I am afraid that if I get my brackets removed, there will be irreversible damage to my teeth. They are crooked, I have an overbite and are overcrowded. I no longer want braces but I really need my teeth to be straight after all of these years. How do you suggest I go about fixing this? Am I eligible for Invisalign if I have an overbite? Is there a way for a dentist to remove the bracket and remove the 13 year old stains? Thank you very much for taking the time to read this.
