Denture problems
I had all my teeth removed around 05 and the dentist really did alot of damage. He is no longer in business, and my dentures hurt and make me gag all the time. I hate this, and feel that my quality of life has deminished tremendously since having this done. I have medicaid, so I don\'t think I have the option of implants, and I can\'t even wear the bottom dentures at all. (havn\'t since after the first week) I don\'t know what to do or who can help me, but I want to feel normal again. This causes me depression so bad. Thank you

Answer: Find a dentist asap

Go and find a dentist that takes medcaid. Usually with the treatment you had, it would take a while until everything heals and would most probably need a few minor adjustment on the dentures. It is common that once the healing is done, the dentures would not fit comfortably.
If you are a gagger, most dentist will grind away the palate of the denture to make it more comfortable for you.
