Answer: Early Decay

Both brown and a white cloudy appearance may indicate stain, decalcification or early dental caries. There is no way to diagnose for sure without dental radiographs and detection with a dental explorer. The sensitivity toothpaste is good to help with sensitivity however, it will not reverse the decay process. Unfortunately decay only continues to get worse and more expensive to restore. It is best to make an appointment to have the areas checked and properly diagnosed rather than to wait for them to get larger and more expensive to restore. Being a busy single mom is not easy, however it is more stressful when having a toothache or a large unnecessary dental expense.
