Im currently wearing braces. Im wondering what other dental treatment can I do after getting these?
As a child, I lack knowledge on proper oral hygiene. So I had root canal treatment on my two front teeth (central incisors) at an early age of 15, and now they are darker than its adjacent teeth. I also had several composite fillings on several tooth which can be obviously seen because of the improper shade selection of the filling. My two front teeth also used to be little longer, but before getting my braces, my previous dentist has cracked the incisal part of my teeth while getting a cavity prepared for restoration and instead of filling it up, she trimmed it down. During my orthodontic treatment, my orthodontist further trimmed my tooth down because the incisal edge looked a little bit off after my teeth has aligned. My teeth also turned yellower because ive been wearing braces for 3 yrs already. Now 20, i've become veeeerryyy conscious about the appearance of my teeth. I want to restore its natural look. I want to lengthen my incisors, have whiter set of teeth, aInd at the same time correct and match the color of the fillings on my tooth. What dental procedures can you recommened?

Since both of your maxillary central incisors have had root canal treatment, the best option is porcelain crowns. Once a tooth has had a root canal, it is essentially dead and no longer contains vital nerves or blood vessels. This can tend to make the tooth more brittle. The discoloration of your fillings is normal and happens over time. Composite restorations (white fillings) tend to stain and usually need to replaced every 5 years. Full coverage porcelain crowns will not only provide protection against breakage, it will also allow you to achieve a natural whiter shade and the longer length you desire.
