Why Wait So Long To Have Crowns Done?
Two weeks ago I had a Perio scale cleaning done and have a appointment in 6 weeks for a polish.I will be having crowns and partials done .My question is : Why do I have to wait so long to start having the crowns done? Is there a certain wait period after a Perio scaling is done to have any other work done ? Why do I need a \"polish\" if I\'m having my crowns replaced ?

After perio scaling, you need time to heal and keep the cleaning up. Your gums are soft and needs to get hard again. Polishing is needed to make sure no debris is left on any teeth.
Make sure you keep up the cleaning from the perio so the gums are healthy and good enough to continue all the work you need.
