Are my wisdom teeth infected

Hi, I have a large but flat lump in the middle of my mouth on the border of the \"soft and hard Palate\"? whenever I put pressure on my gum where my wisdom teeth are on either side the lump tends to get smaller. I also have sinus pressure in my nose. I really fear going to the dentist because of past experiences.
