Fractured mandible

I had an accident and sustained a left mandible condylar head fracture, dislocated, a right mandible symphysis body fracture and several chipped/broken teeth. I had an ORIF of condylar head fracture with interdental wiring and a closed reduction of the right mandible fracture. I now am having issues with dental/bite alignment and pain. A recent exam showed an angle class 2, division 2 malocclusion, moderate maxillary arch crowding, moderate mandibular arch crowding, anterior bite is deep (60-100%). Overjet and arch form are normal. Interdental opening is 2cm. Treatment plan following removal of arch bars is for TMJ splint therapy. Can you please explain what those examination findings mean? Additionally, I am experiencing pain in the left TMJ area that radiates upwards to my forehead and scalp. I do not want to keep taking pain medication, but need something for relief. Are there any clinical studies to support the use of Botox in this situation?
