Is There A Liquid Form Of Amoxicliin?

i have a phobia of taking pills. my dentist prescribed me with amoxicillin in pill form, it came in a bottle of 28. i swallowed one whole but it took me a looong time to swallow that one, i crushed one up and swallowed it in 3 pieces, and i threw to of them away because the capsules were to wet from when i was trying to swallow them. He said that I have an Absest tooth and i told my mom i cannot swallow pills but she said yes you can and i said no i can't mom. Can i exchange amoxicillin in pill form for a liquid or chewable tablet form if my dentist already prescribed me with the pill form??

Answer: You can get amoxicilin in liquid form

You must take the antibiotic for your abscess tooth. Tell your mom to call the dentist and ask them to switch the perscription for you to get antibiotic in liquid form> It should not cost you mom any money to have the perscriton change. Try and crush the pills again with the flat end of a spoon and when its all crushed take the pill with some kind of food so you can put the powder into it. You need to take them otherwise you will probably have some sort of problem with that particular tooth. Good Luck
