Was the xcp-ds tool properly sterilized?
I recently visited a dentist and had to get an x-ray, the instruments they put in your mouth to bite on I believe it is called "xcp-ds" seems to have not been properly sterilized. I say this because after I was done, she just took it out of my mouth and put it in a container that read "BIOHAZARD", that alone was particularly odd. When she left the room, I got up to open the container and I saw the same instrument that was just used on me in the container; with what looked only like water it may have been alcohol. But is this sanitary practice to just soak something like that in solution that has been in "hundreds" of people's mouths? Was it supposed to be brand new or heated to kill the germs, and not soaked in just alcohol/water?
